Money Jar Activation

For the number you are short, and the ones after it.

You bought a jar. I made it and charged it by hand. You cast it. Everything you need came in the box.

What is in it

Cinnamon to speed a thing up. Basil, which has been the money herb in kitchens for a very long time. A green aventurine to hold it.

A salt base under all of it. Plus a petition slip, a chime candle, and the card that sent you here.

You need a pen and something fireproof to set the candle on. Take ten minutes when nobody needs you. That is the whole requirement.

Step one

Write it down

Some of what other women have written:

  • The $1,400 for rent is in my account by the 12th.
  • I make $3,000 this month and it stays.
  • The card is paid off by spring and I do not put anything back on it.

Write it in present tense, like it already happened. Be specific. A number, a name, a date if you have one. Vague in, vague out.

Step two

Fold it toward you

Fold the slip in half toward your body. Turn it a quarter turn and fold it toward you again. You are pulling something in, so every fold comes toward you.

Step three

Load it and cork it

Pull the cork. Slide the folded slip in on top of the herbs. Push the cork back in firm.

Step four

Seal it

Light the candle. Let it burn a minute or two, until there is a small pool of wax at the top. Tip it over the cork and let the wax run down over the seam, turning the jar as you pour so it runs all the way around.

Set the candle where nothing can catch, and never leave it burning when you walk out of the room.

Step five

Say it out loud

It comes to me, and it stays.

Hand on the jar, said once, out loud. Out loud is what separates a wish from a spell.

Where it goes

Put it where money decisions actually happen. The desk where bills get paid, the kitchen windowsill, the shelf by the door where your wallet lands.

Touch it when you pass it. Once a week or so, pick it up, shake it once, and say your line again.

Timing

Thursday is the day for increase, and a growing moon draws things toward you.

Timing makes a working stronger. It does not make it possible or impossible. If you need it tonight, cast tonight.

When it is done

When the money is in or the thing is paid, thank it out loud and retire it. A new amount is a new jar.

Do not open it. This one draws things toward you, and opening it scatters what you built.

Bury it whole on your own land. No land? A big pot of soil you keep works, or a friend or family member’s ground with permission. If none of that is available, carry it off your property and put it in the trash somewhere that is not your home.

Questions

I burned the candle down before I sealed it.

Relight what is left, or use any candle in the house. The wax is the seal, not the spell. If there is no wax at all, push the cork in tight and skip that step. The jar still holds.

I wrote the wrong thing.

If it is not sealed yet, pull the slip out and write a new one. If it is sealed, leave it alone. Write the corrected version on a scrap and keep it under the jar. The jar works on what you meant.

Do I have to be a witch for this to work?

No. You have to mean it and you have to say it out loud. Plenty of women casting this jar right now would never use the word witch about themselves.

Nothing has happened.

Give it a full moon cycle before you decide. Then look honestly at whether the thing you asked for needed a move from you that you have not made. A jar opens a door. It does not walk you through it.

Is it safe around kids and pets?

Keep the sealed jar up out of reach. It is glass with a stone in it, and a broken one is a real hazard. The candle gets the same rules as any candle in your house. The herbs inside are kitchen herbs.

Want more spells?

The Grimoire is free. It is the workings I actually use, written the way I would tell you at my kitchen table.

Send me the Grimoire

There are four of these. Money, love, family, career. See all four.

I make the jar. You make the magic.
